Form and uses of the simple present tense

Simple Present Tense
Form Subject + Verb1 + Object
Use (1) It is used to talk about things that are always true.
Examples I live in Morocco.
The sun rises in the east
The sky is blue
Use (2) It is used to talk about habits or routines
Examples He smokes.
Dogs bark.
Cats drink milk.
Use (3) It is used with adverbs or adverb phrases such as: usually, always, rarely, never, often, sometimes, occasionally, every week, on Mondays, twice a year etc.
Examples I play football everyday.
I sometimes go to the cinema.
She rarely gets up at 6 a.m..
The always drink tea at night.
Use (4) It is used to talk about time tables or schedules. (future reference)
